Specific extraction of Kozárovice granite
At the Kozárovice II quarry in Central Bohemia, we quarry a medium-grained, black-and-white speckled granodiorite of the Sázava type, characterized by its dark grey colour, which is used to produce paving stones, curbstones, masonry elements, quarry stone, garden features and crushed gravel. Cut stone products made from this granite—such as paving and cladding slabs, curbs, window sills, and stone staircases—are processed using various techniques at the fine stone production facilities in Prosetín or Slatina. The most common types of processing include sandblasting, grinding, and polishing.
